Author Comments:

Let this year be better than the last. Please.

Yes, Tristam Shandy appears surprisingly good.

Winterbottom's output is erratic (as would anybody's when they make as many films as he does), but "Shandy" looks to be a winner. Hell, it did make the New York Film Festival. (Then again, so did "(No) Sympathy for Lady Vengeance".)

You really do wanna see "The Break-Up"? Why? Have a thing for Jennifer? Vince? Peyton Reed? ;-)

Oh yeah, also: "District B13" is a lotta fun in a stupid kinda way. If you miss it in the theatre, I can send you a DVD-r copy.

Actually... yeah, Peyton Reed. I liked "Bring it On" and really dug "Down with Love" so I figure this has gotta be worth a look.

And yeah... I doubt I'm gonna get to see "District B13" in a theater. A DVD-r would be much appreciated... :-)

I really wanna see Art School Confidential (Kate Moennig) and Shadowboxer of the ones you have here.

Cars is a really good kids movie. Snakes on a Plane was fun.
