What do you think of '12 Angry Men'?
Not a bad film...but I bet it would work better as a play.
Now that I say that, I'm sure that there is a stage version somewhere that I'm forgetting.
I can't tell if you were joking or not. If you weren't, 12 Angry Men was a play originally.
Granted, the film doesn't look like Lawrence of Arabia, but IMHO, Lumet's direction really adds something to the script in capturing the intensity and paranoia of the setting. And the performances are really fantastic.
I was indeed joking.
I need to watch the film again, but I wasn't knocked out.
