I guess I could see Snivilisation as house, though I've always considered it on the more experimental-techno side of things.
Now that you mention it, it does blur the line between techno and house, but I still get the house vibe from it, not the techno vibe. The way I think of it is that both techno and house can be warm and inviting, but house embodies joie de vivre and techno embodies profundity. Or you could call it techno, but then techno would subsume a fair bit of house. I guess it's both...
In any case, it really is a fantastic album. "Attached" is still one of the most glorious tunes ever.
