Cloned From:

ooo Eastern Promises my borther said he really enjoyed that film it suprised me because i've heard some very mixed stuff about it, perhaps he enjoyed it more because he hadn't read the book before hand, if he had it may of affected his view of the film.

Any movies you want to see that is released in this year?

PS : great work on carrying on the scoreboard

Yeah, I know, some people loved it. But Mortensen and Cassel as Russians, sorry, but I didn't buy it. Overall, I thought the acting was rather weak (Watts was okay, but she can do much better), the screenplay a bit boring, and Cronenberg's unobtrusive mise-en-scène a bit too unobtrusive. Yes, I know, I'm hard to please ;-) Well, I still gave it a 48.
At this moment I'm looking forward to the new Coen Brothers. And I hope to catch some more Bergmans the next months.
Thanks!
