- I felt like a teenager again. I saw Springsteen four times live in the past 7 months. Once at The Provdence Civic center. I was on the floor for this show. 2 times at Gillette Stadium where I watched it from far away and last night at fenway park where my wife and I celebrated our seventh wedding anniversary. Springsteen's music used to be about recklessness and rebellion and now its more about remebrance ad reckoning. It is an infinite measure of the man's artistry that he has transitioned with his audience and still remained relevant and joyous. If you have never seen a live Springsteen Concert than you have missed out what I always considered to be the true essence of Rock and Roll. The dichotmy of rebellion and community that reflects the conflicting urges in human beings at the precarious transition between being a child and becoming an adult. I can not think of a better way to spend three hours.
