Episodes rated 90%+ are in bold.

Great list!

Still a great list!

Great list. "China Beach" so low on the list? It would most likely have been in my top 5....sadly, it seems the DVD or blu-ray release will never see the light of day. Such an excellent series and canceled to soon, in my opinion.

China beach, like the 2 other shows from the late-80s/early-90s I have on here (Tour of duty and Sledge Hammer!) are low because I only saw them when I was very young, and can't remember much. I put them in anyway because I think they'll stand up on rewatching.

For China beach I can't remember any plots, but I still vividly remember Dana Delany, Jeff Kober, and "Reflections" in it.

Some older shows I've rewatched recently, like Cosmos and (the very patchy) Star trek: TNG have stood up; but when I've caught bits of re-runs of Knight rider on tv at work, it made me cringe, and I suspect the same will happen if I see The A-team again. I rented the 1st discs of seasons 1 of The six million dollar man, MacGyver, and Airwolf, and while not nearly as bad as Knight rider, I didn't bother renting more discs.

I liked China Beach also. My other favorite from that period was Twin Peaks (1990-1991). If you saw it as a youngin', you probably couldn't relate to it.
