In case you missed it, jokow11 sent me a VCD of Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance. I have since passed it along to lukeprog, who now would like to pass it along to somebody else. Who's interested? It's free, and the only thing you'd have to pay is postage if you then choose to pass it along to somebody else. I believe most DVD players can handle VCD. My $40 player had no trouble.

Post here if you want the Battle Royale VCD after lukeprog.
Jim, how are Rushmore and I on both the newcomers and old-timers lists in the Hall of Fame?
The old-timers list doesn't really have a time limit. It's just the highest-rated people of all-time. The newcomers list is the highest-rated people who have joined in the past three (?) months. You and Rushmore have just put out a hell of a lot of content in the past three months, so you've gotten on both lists.
I don't suppose anyone has a copy of The Life of an American Fireman they want to lend me? Can't find a copy of it anywhere for less than $20, and it's not on Netflix or at my library or online.
Well, probably not, but I figured I'd give it a try anyway :-)
Jim, looks like you might have to redesign the 'recent updates' section to accomodate newcomer ekovacs' titular grandiloquence and prolificacy!
kidding, of course
I am interested.
Okay. Send your mailing address to me at lukeprog@hotpop.com
Anybody want to view my Battle Royale VCD? I'd be willing to send it around the loop as long as I get it back eventually.
I'd like to see it! I'll e-mail you.
Me too! Me too! (after Jim) :-)
Stupid Netflix doesn't even carry it last time I checked!
BTW, if you're into trading discs (whether you want them back eventually or not), check out Peerflix (google it, I'm too lazy to link).
And, I did post a short review of the film after I watched it, for anyone who's interested.
