Twitch is reporting that Ain't it Cool is reporting that Catwoman helmer Pitof has been tapped to direct the live-action Akira remake. Our only hope is that they also get other prime one-name directors like Kaos and McG to co-direct, ensuring an implosion in the fabric of reality, preventing anyone from actually seeing the movie.
Failing that, pray for more giggle-inducing bondage outfits to appear prominently in the wardrobe department.
Whatever happened to 'You'll never work in this town again!'
They should bring that back.
