Top 100 Overlooked Films of the 90s, according to the Online Film Critics Society. Some great movies in there, which is good because they've also got some dogs. I'm just happy to have seen more than half of them. « via GreenCine »

Glad to see "Bound" on there, I really loved that movie. And "Zero Effect" of course. :-)

It's funny, I've been meaning to check out #1, #3, #4, and #5 for some time now. Actually, some of these other films too. Solid list, though actually I've only seen 15 films on it.

P.S. I think "My Neighbor Totoro" came out in 1988...

Which 15? You've got some good stuff ahead of you.

Let's see...

Even though I haven't seen any of the top 5, I'm fairly solid in #5-20 - I've seen Waiting for Guffman, The Hudsucker Proxy, Bound, Chungking Express, Dead Again, Sneakers, and Zero Effect. After that, jump to 32 for Defending Your Life, then 46 for L.A. Story and 49 for The Limey. I've seen Bob Roberts and Dick at 52 and 53 and The Ref at 56. Then jump way down to 74 for Flirting With Disaster, then another big jump to 100 for Mystery Men.

Many of these are ones that have been at least rattling around in my brain. I think I recognize a few from your favorite movies list. Any more recommendations / ones to avoid?

Never let it be said that I'm not thorough.
