For "Dark and Long" you mean the album version and not the popular "Dark Train" remix, right? When I first got into UW I didn't even know there was an original, but since I first heard it I agree it's really brilliant. Thunder, thunder, lightning...
I think it is the remix. I was talking about the version from Northern Exposure.
I also think I grabbed the original, and was very unimpressed. Nevermind.
I can grab Beaucoupfish for cheap. Should I?
I love "Help, I'm a Rock!" As a matter of fact, I love all of Freak Out!
Good choice.
Johnny Waco
As do I, Mr Waco. It's pretty mind-boggling that it came out in 1966. Take that Beatles!
I also could have added "Call Any Vegetable" from Absolutely Free.
Hmmm....Primal Scream. Good Stuff!!
That was a while ago, but it was good stuff. Not great though. Any other albums by them you would care to recommend?
Screamadelica is the only album I have heard from them. As I understand, it is considered their best.
Same here. While it was enjoyable, I don't feel the need to explore their other stuff.
Nice variety of music here. While I already know most of what you've posted here, I'll certainly be checking out everything on here I don't know, judging by the quality of the tracks and albums that I do.
