Hahaha! Thanks, guys. I think this is due to (1) my obsessive desire to be familiar with all films deemed worthy of canonization, no matter the source; (2) my open-mindedness to enjoying both pulpy entertainment and avant-garde snobbery; and (3) the voracious brain parasite that forces me to watch whatever movie it discovers on random IMDB searches. I think you'll like it. It's a very strong, if very predictable, character drama with an emphasis on realistic dialogue and the nature of the characters' unconventional relationships. I haven't seen any of the Duplass brothers' other movies, but my sense is that the values that made their ultra-low-budget films into indie darlings still work well here now that they're playing with a multimillion-dollar budget.

And argh, I need to catch up on reviews!
