Wow, now this is one ambitious list. I greatly enjoyed reading it!

I've checked out Dancer in the Dark from the library, and I am hoping to have a chance to watch it tomorrow. I noticed they also have Hedwig, and I put a hold on it.

Aside from those two, which I haven't seen, I LOVE all the films on your picture list.

Great list.

Shalom, y'all!

I'm glad to hear that you and I have a similar sense of the new decade's cinematic treasures. I really can't wait to see what you think of Dancer in the Dark and Hedwig. Funny, they're both unconventional musicals. I guess maybe that's an indication of my love for musical theatre / film.

I'm planning on expanding this to include a few more categories. We'll see.

AAA, this list rocks. I need to see Talk to Her, Dancer in the Dark, and Far From Heaven to see everything in your top 10 "Best Pictures". I love the way you've managed to not swamp the other categories with those 10 movies, as well.

Thanks Jim! I try hard to make sure that I give the most deserving films in every category credit. I was actually worried that I had created some clear sweepers (MR! especially), so you're comments have done much to reassure me.
